Pulse of the Earth
This work is conceived from the experience that many shaman have at sunrise and sunset. As the earth and sun interact with the terminator between day and night. Often, it is said, the earth pulses out energy. This is why the mountain is in mirror image. The pulse at the center a sun energy. This was the rave at my show in July 2009. Considered the best in the show by all who attended. The work is still available. The frame is hand made for the artwork. Original sells for $1000.00. Additional costs for shipping to a location. Full sized copies will be available when the work sells for $180.00. As well as smaller quality reproductions at $50.00 printed on 12x18 paper.
Master of the Will
This has to be one of my personal favorite works. The base of the painting is a set of etching plates printed on BFK. Then the work was inked using my favorite ink - FW. It is about 30" tall and 11" wide. The frame is hand made for the painting. Notice the knots in relationship to the work. Poplar is an amazingly inspiring wood to work with in framing. The will is a Toltec concept of the energy which emerges from the center of our being. We use this energy, a fine chord of sorts, to create and stabilize our world. For the master, it is a method of shifting his attention and those around him. A wonderfully fun work to see and interact with. The original is $800.00. Additional charges for shipping. There will be no reproduction prints of this work available being an intaglio print with ink, it can be reproduced into a similar likeness, though not exactly as the ink always lends itself to magical effects.
Sweat Lodge Ceremony One
This work is still underconstruction. This shows the first side of a two sided painting. In this work the first two rounds of the sweat lodge ceremony are represented. During this phase of the ceremony, thanksgiving and calling are brought into the lodge. Thus the wonderful addition of the eagles and bears to the ceremony as well as the directions and mountains. Around the edge are the light poles, 16, which are the willow ribs of the lodge.

Side two of this work is devoted to the second two rounds of the lodge. During these rounds the lodge spins with united prayer and intention. The directions all spin as well. And the sacred land teaches the people what spirit has for them. The final work will be framed in poplar between two peices of glass. The fram can be hung in either direction or side for an effect that is constantly changing. Original work is $1500.00. Additional costs for shipping. When the work is sold, original reproductions 22x30 will be available at $280.00 each. Smaller quality prints 12x18 will be available for $50.00 each. A double sided reproduction is not available.
Triple Spirits
Moon Bear, Sun Eagle, Raven Wind
This is a set which was recently completed by me and my wife Lorraine. A 22x30 sheet of BFK was saturated and stained by Lorraine and then I worked the individual ideas over her beautiful base. They are sold as an original set for $1200.00. Currently they are matted for standard frames with a flanel grey mat board and foam core. The sizes above do not represent their proportion to each other.
Bursting Will
This work is a new print of the Master of Will seen above. In this case the will is working its way in a spiral direction and out with a sense of history - the thigh being the center of our personal history. Through connecting to that history the Will can thus evolve to a new level. The work is mated with a beautiful olive green mat and foam board. $400.00.
Four Elements Man
Again, a favorite plate of mine to work with, this man is inked and linked to the four directions as symbolized by the shapes drawn over him. Mated in black, the work is $150.00.
Sun Buddha
In Japan, there is a buddha dedicated to the sun, Dainichi Niyorai... In this case not only is the central buddha figured here but his four attendants in the directions. The smaller circles represent days passing. This is matted in black and is $200.00
Mato
This original work is 18x24 in size. This sold recently but full size copies are avaialble for $215.00. Smaller reproductions are avaialble at 12x18 for $50.00.
